Alex Smith Appointed as Volkswagen’s New Director

Alex Smith will be replacing Robert Hazelwood as the director of Volkswagen passenger cars. Leaving his current position as director of Volkswagens commercial vehicles, Smith will start his new position on July 1st 2014. Racing Event: Le Mans 2014

The famous Le Mans 24 Hour race takes place next weekend and here at Motor Answering we are geared up and excited for the big event.
First place of the world famous endurance race has been awarded to the Audi R18 e-tron Quattro for the past two years. Victory might not be as easy this year as Toyota are close behind in the initial test times and the new Porsche team will be keen to continue the marques success in the 24 hour race. Read More
Insurance Experts Warn : No Black Box, No Insurance!

Insurance experts have warned that owners of older cars, may be refused insurance, if they do not install Black Box technology within the next ten years.
Black Box technology, alternatively known as telematics has been introduced as it includes a tracking device, letting emergency services find vehicles more efficiently. The technology also tracks where motorists have travelled, the speed in which they were driving and the way in which they control the car. Read More
